Program: Hornell Area Family Resource Center
The Hornell Area Family Resource Center (HAFRC) is a Community Schools site offered in collaboration with and on campus at Hornell City School District in its Intermediate School. The center offers drop-in activities and programming for families and their children age birth through grade 12. Activities and programs include developmental play opportunities, play and socialization groups, early literacy and school readiness programming, academic support, career exploration, parenting education, family games sessions, and special presentations on topics such as bullying prevention, substance abuse prevention, social media safety, nutrition and health.
