The Expanded Learning Network of the Southern Tier (ELNoST)

Mission: Expanded Learning Network of the Southern Tier is a regional chapter of New York State Network for Youth Success (The Network) that builds capacity, enriches and advocates for quality out of school time programming to enhance opportunities for youth and their families.

Funded by the Triangle Fund, ELNoST was established in 2011 to advocate for youth and youth organizations to increase system wide standards of quality for all youth programs.  Serving Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties, ELNoST is made up of over forty youth-serving organizations throughout the region.

In addition to networking opportunities and advocacy efforts, ELNOST also organizes and facilitates various professional development opportunities that support agency and staff growth, quality, and capacity.

ANNUAL ELNoST EVENTS

ELNoST Legislative Breakfast

ELNoST takes a leadership role in our community to convene our state lawmakers and youth program providers to cultivate

relationships, education, and awareness.

Rally for Lights on Afterschool

This is a regional rally that is part of a nationwide annual event endorsed by America’s School Alliance. Each October, youth come together to celebrate and draw attention to the importance of afterschool programs.

Throughout the year, ELNoST helps meet the need of on-going professional development and training for our local youth-serving professionals.
