Corning Salvation Army

Program: Kid’s Cafe Program
The Corning Salvation Army has served Corning for over 100 years.  The Corning Salvation Army’s Kids’ Café Afterschool Program is a free licensed daycare program that provides a safe environment for children.   Children are transported from school directly to the Kid’s Cafe where they receive academic help and participate in activities. Each year they serve 100 children during the school year and an additional 100 children in the summer. The summer program collaborates with many community agencies providing an enriching full day summer experience.

The Triangle Fund funding provides program supplies, personnel and contracted services, all used to enhance the Kid’s Cafe Program.
