Program: Youth Empowerment Program
The Youth Empowerment Program is specifically designed to serve youth, ages 16-21, living in Steuben County. The program offers youth the opportunity to come together as peers in a classroom setting at their school or local youth center. The curriculum is designed to give youth the tools they need to identify a potential career field, create a resume, navigate job search engines, how to be prepared for an interview, and what employers expect from their employees in the workplace. Our hope is that youth who participate in Youth Job Club will be better prepared for their future and give them the opportunity to experience successful, satisfying careers
